Shop ID!

Okay, so I'm an Etsy addict and I know it. I think I might have a problem....I came across this awesome shop and absolutely had to post about it. Kawaiishoppe features some great priced packages of deco tapes, as well as memo grabbies! There are three options for her deco tapes, a set of 10 rolls, a donut dispenser and 4 rolls, and a set of 60 rolls. These ARE the smaller rolls, but who cares when they're so adorable?

At the moment, there are four sets of donuts available:

Those adorable donut dispensers are all reasonably priced at $2.75, but I think the real deal is in the sixty deco tape package! Regardless of them being the smaller rolls, sixty tapes is sixty tapes! This lot is priced at fifteen dollars, and the lot of ten rolls is priced at four dollars. You receive all of the designs pictured below!

Until next time, my kawaii friends!

Early morning, early blogging.

Well, despite my feeling like complete crap, I'm still blogging! Its about 7:30 in the morning(I've been up since four) and I'm sitting in my loft eating eggs and salsa. Surprisingly despite my horrid cooking skills, it came out delightful.

My flickr pick today is xelishacopeland. I came across her work through Kawaii D.I.Y, and then I also found her etsy shop through her blog. She's a fellow blogspotter! The shop itself is based out of Sherman, Texas, and run by Elisha, who is also a stay at home mom and crafter.

I saw this pin, and I fell in love! Who doesn't like cute little dinosaurs? This pin costs $5.00, which I believe is totally reasonable for such cuteness. He measures out to 2.5 inches long by 2 inches tall and can be made in different colors as well as formats such as a necklace or hair clip. This little guy is made of shrink plastic and coated in gloss to seal the colors in.

Elisha produces everything from pinks and necklaces, to rings, keychains and felt goods. but my personal favorite are her amigurumi!

Whats cuter than a pear with a face? Or perhaps a cute mugged rainbow? You can even pick up a white frosted cupcake on sale for $4.00!

I must be in a food mood, because my next pick is so yummy looking that I might buy it myself! FatallyFeminine on Etsy produces some gorgeously frosted accessories that not even I can resist! My favorite item definitely has to be this gorgeous little chocolate bar deco mirror!

This is a cute little chocolate bar shaped mirror decorated with deco frosting and swarovski rhinestones. It measures six inches by three inches, and the top lifts up to reveal the mirror.

Another of her items that definitely caught my attention were these cupcake stud earrings. They come beautifully packaged in a girls box and are made to order using polymer clay, pink swarovski crystals, and silver plated backings!

Oh man.

I felt an immense need to post about this err.....deco tape of sorts. BACON PACKING TAPE! It sounds stupid, or yummy to some, but it really is a great novelty item. Not exactly 'kawaii' but I had to post it!Is awesome right? The bacon strips look so real! You can purchase your own bacon roll at Silver Crow Creations. $4.75 gets you about 82 feet of bacon strips!

Our Picks for Today!

Welcome! Welcome! Welcome! Thank you for stopping by and having a look at SK. This is our first post and I am extremely proud of myself for actually DOING what I've been saying I was going to do!

I love kawaii. I'm admitting to it, yes! I am obsessed with cute crap. Okay, not CRAP per say, but you get what I mean. I'm also addicted to etsy. There's something about handmade cute stuff that tickles my fancy. Onto the goods!

I came across this little dude while browsing for a swap on etsy. Cute milk! How adorable is that? Completely hand sewn, and cuddly to boot! He stands at five inches tall by five inches wide, made of basic felt, metallic silver and white thread. He's filled with polymer filling, and even comes complete with a straw! But of course, we couldn't forget the most important ingredient...LOVE!

You can find this cute guy along with a variety of other plushies, including skulls, fruits, and bunnies at Toi's Toys. Photo credit goes to toiatoya. Keep an eye on her shop as she is planning on expanding and producing a bunchy of new characters and animals.

WELL. Since we're in a plushie mood, I might as well keep this going, huh? My next favorite is of course, the onigiri. I'm a bento lover, and a Japanese food lover (sans seafood...bleck) so naturally, I adore food themed items. Well okay, who WOULDN'T like a riceball with a cute little mug like this?

This cute dude is made by ILuvMojo. He's handmade with love, stitched together out of felt and stuffed with extra squishy polyfill stuffing. So very, very cute. The shop owner makes a variety(and I really mean a variety...) of items and plushies as well as pouches, pins, phone charms, and bags made of recycled materials. Eco-friendly AND cute! how 'bout that? Some of my favorite creations would have to be her Tofu Plushie, adorable Fortune Cookie Magnets, complete with heart-ified felt fortune poking out, Poo Pin Cushion, and adorably wearable, cute faced, felt Apple Pin. She even makes felt play foods such as sushi, cookies, and freeze pops! Photo credit goes to ILuvMojo.

Obviously with all this sewing, these great artists need somewhere to rest their pins...I hope they aren't like me and end up 'resting' their pins in the tips of their fingers by accident. This is why KQ doesn't sew. For those who was a kawaii place to stick their pins, check out this fab find.

This gorgeous little item is a colorful felted pincushion made by feltmates. Lovingly made out of pink wool, and nestled in a crisply clean porcelain dish, this birds nest is sure to please those pins of yours. Do they make Hello kitty sewing pins by chance? This cushion measure 3.5 inches by 3 inches and features two white and red birds nestles atop it.
